The Halo Ranch Outfitters lease horses to guest ranches, outfitters, hunters, and short term recreational riders. FOR MORE INFORMATION The Angell Family, owners of the Halo Ranch Outfitters, have been involved with the professional horse industry since the late 40's. Pack trips, rodeos, guiding, and daily horseback rides have all been, at one time or another, part of the family business. The fifth generation of Angells is now being raised on the ranch! |
HALO RANCH OUTFITTERS
HORSE LEASING DIVISION St. Anthony, IdahoOwned by the Tom Angell Family (208) 624-7777 Most of our horses are older and have previously been used in ranch or competition environments. Older horses have their habits all established and are far less likely to develop poor patterns of behavior while being used in settings consisting of riders with limited skills. Some of our horses are half/drafts, some weigh less than 1000 pounds, but most of our horses are in the 1200 pound range. Our horses are not spooky, but any horse, regardless of age or training, will spook in sudden startling situations.

We do not have thousands of horses! Our horses for lease are best suited for the recreational rider and hunters. The horses are older, gentle, quiet, and solid mountain trail horses that have been exposed to the rigors of mountain trail riding and the unique dude ranching environment. All of our horses are tried and true! |
