Performance Motor Sports Whether you want to play on the dunes,or mountains winter or summer PMS has what you need. They have a great line up of 4 wheeler rentals to be used on the famous sand Dunes near St. Anthony, Idaho. If your boat, snowmobile, or 4 wheeler needs fixed PMS has a full service department with 2 full time mechanics! They can fix about anything. They work on all different types and models of ATV/UTV, Motorcycles, Snowmobiles, and even Boats and Water Craft. Mack's Inn Boat Rentals Mack's Inn Resort has sports and recreation facilities, including basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and the "trampoline thing", canoe, boat and rubber raft float trips down the river, paddle boats, fishing, hiking, biking, and genuine enjoyment of the out of doors next to one of the camp fire pits. a motel, river front "condo" type units, cabins, and a R.V. park with full hookups. Other amenities include a restaurant, convention center, dinner theater, shower house, and laundry facilities. Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo Three days a week there is a full fledged rodeo on the Diamond P Ranch property! This rodeo is probably the best amateur rodeo in the West! The competition is healthy, the rodeo stock is "rank" and the producers move things at an exciting pace; there is never a dull moment! There are local cowboys who faithfully participate in the rodeo each week and there are professional cowboys who drop in between other rodeos in the Inter mountain West; they all compete together for an outstanding rodeo. At times the guides from the Diamond P Ranch enter the roping events at the rodeo! Island Park Resort Golf Course Island Park Resort boasts a golf course! Besides the golf course, activities at the Resort are a year round function including snow golf, and cross country skiing. (we actually give lessons on how to ski). We organize horseback riding trips with the Diamond 'P' Ranch. We also have numerous indoor activities which include: arts and crafts, swimming, volleyball (played in the Racquetball court). Join us on Thursday nights at 6:00pm for the weekly Barbecue. Check with the office or the clubhouse for the day's activities. Playmill Theater This is the Playmill's 44th summer season in the original West Yellowstone, Montana playhouse. They have musicals, comedy & melodrama showing through the summer. Open May through early September, shows Monday-Saturday 6:00pm and 8:30pm. They're proud to continue the traditions of quality family entertainment which people have come to expect. Stage Stop While browsing Island Park, stop at the Stage Stop! Besides the traditional things you purchase at a convenience store, there are lots of historical items to look at plus an attitude of true old-fashioned hospitality. Do you want to hear a good "old" story about the old days? Just drop into the Stage Stop and be entertained for hours! Don't bother to click on The Stage Stop; they don't have a link! Lake Located in The Mesa Falls Scenic Loop The Mesa Falls Scenic Byway takes you to two of the last undisturbed waterfalls of consequence in the West. Main attractions, the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls are the last major falls in Idaho that have not been used for irrigation or hydroelectric projects. At 110 feet and 85 feet, respectively, they offer equally spectacular views in a beautiful forest setting. Big Springs Johnny Sack Cabin - Big Springs is the head waters of Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Water flows at a temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit - year around! There are huge rainbow trout that feed in this water - No fishing allowed. The Johnny Sack Cabin, on the National Register of Historic Places, is located at Big Springs; everything in the cabin is hand made even down to the lamp shades which are made from animal skins. Mount Sawtelle A 10,000 foot peak with a well maintained gravel road that takes you to the top of the mountain where it is like a large flat plateau with flowers in multicolor splendor that are up to your knees. The view is breathtaking. From this vantage point you can look to the North down onto Henrys lake to the South down onto Island Park Reservoir to the South East you can see the Huge Tetons and to the West the ranches and ominous mountain range. Fall River- One of the most beautiful rivers in the
world. This wild scenic river has numerous water falls, no
reservoirs, steep canyons, gorges, pure sparkling water, and great
